Nemours is seeking a Talent Development Specialist (FULL-TIME), to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida (preferred) or Wilmington, Delaware.

At Nemours, each Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. The team based at our home office in Jacksonville, Fla. provides essential administrative, financial and technical support to Nemours operations across all locations.

This position is responsible for: Consulting, designing, coordinating and delivering solutions to leaders and associates that optimize performance and effectiveness at the individual, group and organization levels. This individual is responsible for achieving desired business results across Nemours via the implementation of Talent Development projects and programs in areas such as organizational effectiveness, leadership development, associate engagement, training and development, team development, organizational culture, change management and performance management. This position will play an integral role in the administration, scheduling, and delivery of the LEADER program as well as Enterprise New Hire Orientation. This role will consult with Nemours' leaders as well as partner with HRBP's to achieve organizational goals and results.

In alignment organizational and talent development strategies, this position works in conjunction with both the Talent Development and Engagement Manager as well as the Director of Talent Development.

  • Provides timely delivery of a range of in-person and virtual consultation services to managers and supervisors on the development and implementation of strategies for creating and sustaining a high performing organization.
  • Identifies and uses instruments and surveys (e.g., Survey Monkey, Engagement Metrics, SmartSheet, Microsoft Office, and vendor platforms) to measure results, update dashboards, analyze individual and group behavior, and recommends strategies for making needed change.
  • Provides individual and team consultation to help create high performance across the organization.
  • Facilitates, supports and consults on endeavors to support the Standards of Behavior and the sustainment of Nemours culture.
  • Provides support and facilitation of change management, organization effectiveness and performance management.
  • Delivers and designs Talent Development leadership trainings and group facilitation.
  • Works in partnership with the HR Business Partners and HR leadership to orchestrate cultural and change initiatives that support Nemours' strategies and goals.
  • Approximately 15-20% travel required to enterprise locations based on organization and team needs.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience required.
  • Possesses an understanding of HR functions, products, and services.
  • Ability to assist with the design and implementation of repeatable Talent Development programs.
  • Ability to partner, create and lead Talent Development webinars and/or classroom learnings.
  • Ability to provide individual coaching and/or counseling around career development, improving individual workplace performance, and personal development.
  • Approximately 15-20% travel required to enterprise locations based on organization and team needs.
